What’s the difference between ‘multiple’ and ‘single’ prints?

You might have come across these 2 terms while shopping around. Aww Snap provides the multiple prints for all our photobooth services. ‘Multiple prints’ mean that your guests can request for multiple prints of the same photo. So if there are 4 persons are in one photo, each of them can get a print.

Our recommendation: Why do we not provide single prints? From our experience (lots of it!), since only one person walks away with the single print of a particular photograph, others in a photo get a little upset when they cannot get a reprint of the same photograph. With multiple prints, every one can get printouts of any photograph they want. This is especially so for large groups (i.e. more than 6 persons)!

If I have 4 persons in the photo, will I get to print 4 copies of the same photo?

Yes! Kindly refer above to ‘What’s the difference between ‘multiple’ and ‘single’ prints?’ for further explanation.

Can I have more than 1 photo in each printout?

Yes, you can have more than 1 photograph in each print out. In other words, you can have, for example, three different poses in one 4R print out. 

Our recommendation: Photographs are beautiful when they are big. Most of our events are done with 1 photograph on each 4R. However, this is a matter of subjective taste and we’ll ultimately take instructions from you. 

What are your different print formats?

We have the 4R (4 by 6 inches); Filmstrip (2 by 6 inches); Faux Polaroid (3 by 4 inches).

What is a digital photo template/overlay?

This is what we use to brand your photos. What you see below is what your printout might look and the overlay is basically the design elements apart from the photograph itself. The design elements are made possible by the hard work our designers. Here are some examples: 

Can I customize the design of my backdrop?

Yes you may. You have 2 options. Either you can provide us the design and we will produce it for you OR we can handle both the design and production for you. If you wish to have our designer customize the design for you, talk to us at hello@awwsnap.com.sg.

How many backdrops will be provided?

One backdrop will be provided at each event. The perfect one for you. You can view our inventory of backdrops here

How are the dimensions of your backdrop?

Our backdrops are usually 2.2m (width) by 1.5m (height), and they will be brought up to a height of over 2m. 

How is your customized backdrop like?

We have 2 options. You can either opt for the photo wall or the wrinkle-free fabric. Their prices differ.

Does my photo come with an envelope or paper frame?

We provide our very own paper sleeve. Nice and thick. Not the flimsy stuff that you will want to tear up once you reach home. 

My event venue is poorly lit. Is that going to be a problem?

You do not have to worry about it. We bring our own lighting to make sure that you and your guests look good. If need be, we may request for a recce of your venue. 

Can we have our photos uploaded to Instagram?

Yes! Straight from our iPad app. Do note that additional charges will apply. 

Can we have our photos uploaded to Facebook?

Yes! Straight from our iPad app. Do note that additional charges will apply. 

How do my guests retrieve the soft copies of the photos that they took at the event?

You can check out our online gallery here. That is where your guests can download their photographs. We will provide your guests with the link to the gallery during the event. 

Will Aww Snap return me the soft copies of all the photos?

Yes! We will be treating your photographs with some photoshop magic and we endeavour to return you the soft copies of all your photos within 7 working days. 

Is your photobooth automatic?

Our software is capable of running an automatic photobooth service but we always have ambassadors on-site to make sure that your guests are well taken care of. We cater to guests from all walks of life, some of whom may be less familiar with touchscreens and cameras than others and we would not want them to miss out on our photobooth experience. 

If you want your booth to be unattended, our recommendation would be the A-booth since we house all our equipment in one compact booth. 

Will you be able to do live projection? I am thinking of having the photos projected onto a large screen.

There are 2 options. We either use your AV equipment (tv screen or projector) or we bring down our own. Do note that additional charges apply for the live projection service.

If Aww Snap has to bring down our own equipment, you can leave everything to us and give us instructions on when you want your photobooth photos to be broadcasted. 

If we are to use your AV equipment, do consider if you have other uses for it. If that is the case, we will have to conduct rehearsals with the relevant parties to ensure smooth transitions between various content. If Aww Snap has exclusive use of your AV equipment, then the process will be very straight forward. 

If I book your service for 3 hours, can I split it into two sessions?

Yes you may! We allow for a 1-hour break in between 2 sessions. If the delay is more than 1 hour, additional charges will apply. 

Can I extend the duration of your service on the event day? 

This is subject to the availability of our ambassadors and support staff. We seek your understanding on this as we believe that employees should not have to be compelled to stay longer than what has been arranged before the event. However, you have our word that we will try our best to accommodate your request for ad-hoc extensions. 

Can I book the A-booth?

The A-booth is Aww Snap’s cost effective solution for long term events. As such, we only rent out the A-booth if the total engagement is for 20 hours or more. For all other events, we will employ our mobile studio setup.

How do I make a booking?

A 50% deposit (i.e. 50% of the total bill) has to be prepaid to secure your booking with us. This can be done via cheque or iBanking. iBanking is preferred for easy tracking.

We will issue you an invoice for the deposit. Kindly let us know once the deposit has been transferred. A receipt will be issued to you after we have received the deposit. 

Kindly do not transfer the deposit before checking our availability for your event. 

What are your bank account details?

My company does not allow for pre-payments. Can I not pay the deposit?

What details do I need to provide you?

We will ask for:

  1. Location
  2. Date of event
  3. Time of service
  4. Point of contact
  5. Any special instructions (eg. please do not set up before my solemnisation ends) from you

Will Aww Snap customize my digital photo template/overlay for me?

Yes, this service comes with both our No-frills and Bespoke packages. We will put you in touch with our designer and he will help you design your digital photo template.

How much space do you need?

We usually ask for a floorspace of about 3m by 2.5m. However, if space constraints are an issue, leave the problem to us. We may conduct a recce if need be and customize our setup to suit your venue. 

What logistical requirements do you have?

We just need a power socket and an oblong table.

Will you be able to set up in the outdoors?

Yes. But this is not preferable as we will not be able to operate our equipment in bad weather. We also recommend running the service indoors so that we will have consistent lighting. Your photos will look a lot better! 

Also, kindly note that in the event of a cancellation of your booking due to bad weather, your deposit will be forfeited. 

Who will be your point of contact on the day of my event?

We will inform you before the event. Rest assure that we have a proper system to ensure that our ambassadors know who to look out for on the event day. 

How do I choose my backdrop?

Are you sure that there is nothing else for me to do?

Just sit back, relax and leave it all to us. 

Will Aww Snap be able to customize the design of my backdrop for me?

Yes, our designer will work directly with you to create your customized backdrop. Do note that additional charges will apply. Simply talk to the Project Manager who has been serving you. 

How many ambassadors will be there to run the service?

2 of them will be on the ground. We call them minions but they are actually superhumans.

How long do you take for the setup and teardown?

We usually begin setup 90 mins before the start of your event. Should there be any unforeseen circumstances, at least we’ll have ample time to react. We take about 15 minutes to teardown. 

Can you walk me through the process? I.e. if I am a guest, what will I see and experience?

Hello. Pick a prop. Snap Snap. Print Photo. Collect photo. Repeat. We'll put up a video soon!

Do you entertain ad-hoc extensions? 

This is subject to the availability of our ambassadors and support staff.
